Sometimes I forget to eat before indulging in a cigar, and I end up feeling a bit sick. I was curious if sugar like chocolate would help?

I agree with Matthew, a cream soda or any other sugar soda will fix that quickly.

It suppose to help, never had to try. I love my cigars the best at least a couple of hours after a meal, or preferably before the meal, I can taste every little nuance with more clarity ๐

It usually does help. Also a great way to counteract it is to pair your cigar with a beverage that has some sugar in it. Cream Soda is one of my favorite drinks to have with a cigar (usually a medium bodied Honduran like a Rocky Patel Flor De San Andres for this pairing).

I've found that any cigar on an empty stomach can be iffy. Besides having a cigar after a meal, at any time of the day, you might want to have a little sugary snack or even some licorice to help complement the taste (like Good & Plenty licorice candies) and settle your stomach.

The quickest fix is letting a packet of sugar dissolve on your tongue.
