When you have a beverage package on a cruise and access to beverages you don't normally keep in your house, it is worth trying out new pairings and seeing how they turn out. I like wine, but my home is stocked with many more whiskeys than wines. According to Robert Holt himself, the Southern Draw product line is designed to pair well with a spectrum of different alcoholic beverages. That being said, I wasn't prepared for how well the Jacob's Ladder went with a Pinot Noir. Don't be afraid to step outside the box and see how things work out. All we can do is live and learn!
