We all know Viaje for their creative packaging, and super creative releases, but blends like Circa '45 tend to fly under the radar - I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best full-bodied blends that Viaje has released in quite some time. Just give it a shot and I am sure that you will feel the same.
Featuring a Mexican San Andres wrapper overtop a Nicaraguan binder and a potent blend of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, Circa '45 would not be my recommendation for beginners. Though, the earthy, leathery, and spicy undertones of this blend combined with its evident strength make it a great choice for fans of full-bodied Nicaraguan blends. A bit easier (though not much) to find than some of Viaje's most sought-after releases, Circa '45 is well-deserving of a spot in your regular rotation. It's earned its spot in mine.
